STOP the Bay Girls Gentleman’s Club

As you can see from the news snippets above, Calvary Chapel South Bay is seriously concerned for the quality of our neighborhood, the protection of our children, and the wellness of all whom will be exposed to such a promiscuous business. Calvary Chapel South Bay is opposed to the opening of the Bay Girls Gentleman’s Club at the corner of Hamilton and Del Amo Blvd. We are petitioning the County of Los Angeles to revoke the license to operate this business so close to our church and within our community. One strip club is too much…we don’t need another.

If you or your church would like to take a stand with Calvary Chapel South Bay against these types of businesses in our backyards, please send your e-mails, letters, and signed petitions to the County of Los Angeles Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas who is calling for a review of zoning regulations. In a statement to KABC yesterday, Supervisor Ridley-Thomas stated, "The law ought to be written in such a way that it limits how many, how much, et cetera."

Al White, the Bay Girls Gentlemens Club general manager[…]said. “This location was permitted. The church is out of the required area. If I were in their shoes, I probably would be concerned, too. It’s understandable.”
